The clock was tight: a fixed online marketplace pre-sale date was already scheduled.

Execution

The Challenge
Jacob Jensen, a renowned Danish design house with a rich history in premium watches and industrial design, was making its first expansion into consumer electronics. The product concept was audacious: a wireless charging car mount with dual-sensing automatic opening — combining infrared proximity sensing with touch activation for a premium unboxing and daily-use experience. The mechanical challenge: fitting both sensor systems and a reliable arm mechanism into an extremely compact enclosure, a problem multiple suppliers had already failed to solve.
Design & Engineering
The Solution
Our R&D team redesigned the PCBA layout from the ground up to integrate both sensor systems within the tight enclosure. Through iterative prototyping and precision component placement, we achieved reliable dual-sensing performance — infrared for hands-free approach detection and capacitive touch for manual control — without compromising Qi wireless charging efficiency or heat dissipation.
Packaging: A Story in Itself
Jacob Jensen’s design philosophy extends to every detail, and the packaging was no exception. This was among the most premium packaging we have ever produced. The brief called for a two-piece rigid gift box that would convey the product’s premium positioning at first touch.
The packaging went through 6 rounds of sampling to perfect every detail: material selection (eco-friendly paper stock), structural integrity, magnetic closure tension, insert molding precision, and print color accuracy. The final result was a package that Jacob Jensen’s team approved as matching the quality standards of their watch packaging — the highest compliment from a brand built on design excellence.

The Challenge
Merlin Digital needed 1,000 units of a 15W wireless charger urgently before Chinese New Year. The timing could not have been tighter: the factory was approaching its annual holiday shutdown, and the first payment from Dubai was flagged as high-risk funds by the bank, causing a delay. The second payment landed with just 15 days to go before the factory closed for CNY. Making matters worse, freight carriers were also preparing for their own holiday schedule.

Once payment was confirmed, we activated our emergency fast-track protocol. Sample confirmation via DHL express was completed in 5 days. With production compressed into a single week, our team worked around the clock to complete assembly, QC testing, and packaging. The final shipment was loaded and dispatched just before the freight holiday cutoff, ensuring Merlin Digital had inventory ready for their market launch without a months-long wait for the post-CNY factory reopening.
